    Default can children ride in Jeeps?

    hello,
    I have heard that it is illegal for children to ride in jeeps because of their tip over possibility and also because there are no seats in the back in which to strap a car seat. Can they then ride in the front? Is there law on the books that state they are unsafe for children?

    Children under a certain age (not sure what age you can check the car manual) cannot ride in the front seat of any car because of the air bag. I believe the age is 10 and under but it could be higher normally this age is in the car manual and the airbag warning signs.
