Newspapers have their own view of what is discriminatory and have the right to call the shots on advertising. I do not believe your statement is discriminatory at all. But it is what the paper thinks that counts.
Is it legal to advertise a job opening "perfect job for a responsible high school or college student. 10-15 hrs/ wk and.." The newspaper says it is discriminatory and edited out "high school or college student".
