In the divorce degree spousal maintenance/alimony was awarded to the other party to complete their four year degree and become employed in the chosen field. The degree was never obtained, case was reviewed and since the marital home was in foreclosure the support was continued. How is this legal when the support was awarded for school not to continue paying for the marital home?
