I am planning an outdoor event where people will bring their own booz. Do I need an Va Abc temp license to host such an event? The event will be hosted on private property. There will be a cover charge to get into the event. If the event is marketed as a private event with a $15 donation to get into the event with invitation only is there a need for an ABC License. Would such an event need to be 21&up or is 18&up ok? Any help in this area would be great im trying to put this together in a mth or less so dont have much time. I have seen others throw these type of events so I know it can be done just need to know the laws.
