Have court in Texas in the month of November for PCS. I live in GA and would like to reset my court date.
How can I do this without a lawyer?
Easiest way is to contact the court (the Court Coordinator, not the actual Judge) and ask if they will allow it to be moved. Understand, it takes the agreement of all parties-- you can't move it just because you want to if it will screw up the other side's schedule or their case. If the Judge wants a letter instead of a formal motion, the Coordinator can tell you that. If they need a formal motion, you'll need a lawyer or to find a form book at the law library.
