Is it legal to swab someones child for dna without there permission

I was wondering if it was legal for someone to come in my home wait till im out of the room for a minute swab my childs mouth for dna results without consulting me or asking for my permission first. Because this happened to me without my knowledge and im highly upset because my son is one and doesnt like anything in his mouth unless its something he likes to eat so Im thinking they might have had to hold him down or something to perform this and if this is legal omg it shouldnt be. Im the mother they should have asked for my consent.

NO, even the police and FBI can not get your dna without your permission. They have to wait until you throw away somethin, ie: cup, cigarette ect. then it is legal cause you threw it away.
