is it legal for your employer to call your personal doctor about your medical problems?
I am extremely sensitive to bright lights and sometimes it doesn't have to be bright at all. I from time to time wear darker glasses at my desk because it causes me to have a headache. My employer has been aware of this but now is requiring me to get a doctors prescription or else he doesn't want me wearing them any longer. I did however get my Dr to fax me a note to be placed in my file, but he states he's going to call the doctor to verify this. Is this even legal?? My doctor is also the company doctor.
