In Detriot Michigan, it is illegal to chain allegators to fire hydrants,

LMAO you know the only reason its a law is because someone has done it lol.

Here is another one for good ol Detroit.....

All womans bikini and swim suits must be worn infront of and inspected by the Chief of Police before they can be worn in public......lol detroit cops are perverts lolo, at least back then,,,

Those are funny. It appears they were very old laws. As we know women were viewed differently by society in the old days than they are viewd today. Example: women were not allowed to vote in the USA until August 26, 1920. Today, women in Iraq have 1/2 the value of a man. For example, recently a man poured acid into his girlfriends two eyes. The court convicted him and for his punishment his girlfriend had to pur acid into one of his eyes. She appealed claiming this was unfair but the Iraq appellat judges said sine she was a woman she could only pour it into one eye. If she were a man she could pour it into both eyes.

    Thumbs up

LOLOL!!! Those are pretty hilarious! Somewhere a ways back, I saw a whole book of ridiculous laws from all around the Country that were (obviously) written a very long time ago - can't remember any in particular offhand, though.

Anyway, I was just going to say that Federal, State & Local Lawmakers continue to write more and more new laws, but they rarely - if ever - bother to take any of the outdated ones off the books. So, technically, if those alligator & bikini laws you wrote of have not been officially removed, they are still in effect. But of course, I'm quite sure that they, as well as so many of the other equally ridiculous - or I should say 'extremely outdated' ones are never enforced in modern times. As a matter of fact, that bit about the Chief of Police's Bikini Inspections (ROTFLMAO!) would probably be ILLEGAL to enforce now.... the alligator & the fire hydrant????? Hmmmm... lol. Good post.

Who gets to decide that a law is no longer relevent and shouldnt be enforced? This seem like it should be illegal. It is my understanding that the way law works, the law is the law until repelled by elected officials. To enforce some laws and not others destroys the systems integrity.
