Default non singaporean has problem w/previous employer in singapore

    Hello.
I received an email today from my previous employer. In the letter
they apologized for opening my mail with out permission.
The said that the letter was from a law firm and it required
    my attention.
They scanned the letter and emailed it to me.
The also CC the scanned document to the entire HR department.
The scanned document clealy says at the top it is private and confidential
The letter is about a debt collection issue w/my account
    numbers and amount owned.

This seems so wrong, my head is spinning and I want to act.
    I'm no longer in singapore.
The mother company based in the U.K.
I signed non disclosure acts about trade secrets when I was hired so I'm sure they
    are aware of privacy.

any thoughts Ideas suggestions would be appreciated.

    hi.
no it was my personal email address. I no longer work for them.
They could have contacted me and asked for forwarding information.
This was a hand delivered letter that they accepted on my behalf w/out me
even working there anymore. At least the letter says hand deliverd on it.
so i'm assuming that's the case.

You'll have to take this up with the courts in singapor since it appears that where your mail was opened. Us would have no jurisdiction.
