Yes I think you can call the police and they could charge him with illegal surveillance. It would help if you could find the site on the internet that has the live feed but I'm not sure if it's necessary.

Is it legal for a neighbor to hard wire an intelligent video surveillance system (i.e. data available by internet at anytime) merely feet over his property line, pointing directly into my yard, with vision of my back yard, deck and into my house, when blinds are open?
The placement of the surveillance camera does not video any of his property, so there is no real arguement that the camera is there for his protection, it only videos my property and shows definite intent, if nothing else, to harrass. Without going the civil route and paying thousands of dollars to try to prove harrassment is there anything that the local authorities can do?

Thank you for your reply Sharon. When I called the police they told me this is a civil case and I would need to contact a lawyer and take him to court. Would you happen to know of a particular state / federal law I could point to?
