My mother took out a loan on a car for me and since the loan is in her name, the insurance also has to be in her name with me listed as a primary operator. It had been 2 years now. I have made every payment to both the bank for the loan and to the insurance company. She just called and told me she sold the car to someone and they will be taking my car tomorrow. What rights do I have? Can I fight this? Can I be reimbursed for all this money I have paid? Does it mean anything that I have possession of the vehicle? Does she need paperwork to do this? Can I keep the car from her? I have text messages acknowledging that she is fully aware this car is meant to be mine (I just have less than great credit) and also acknowledging that I have made all these payments. There has to be something I can do. Please help ASAP!! Thanks so much in advance for any answers you can provide me with.
Nice Mother! "Ok mom, can you give me the money you sold my car for so I can go out and get another one, bitch!"
No, seriously, don't say bitch. Really, be as nice as you can to her and ask nicely for the money because now you don't have a car to get to work. Then as soon as you save enough money, move out and disown your terrible mother.
