    Default What about homeless people?

    Is it legal in Pennsylvania to force a homeless person to seek medical help if it appears that he has a potentially life-threatening illness?

    The simple answer is no. Everyone has the right to refuse medical treatment. Implied Consent and Good Samaritan are on the books to protect people who render aide to those victims that are unconscious, suffering from mental issues, or for some other reason can't give verbal consent.

    They can be put in quarantine if they have a communicable disease like t, and if my memory serves me right they can be treated depending on the disease.
