    Unhappy 17 yr old pregnant to 45 yr old man

    My 17 yr old daughter is pregnant to a 45 yr old man. Are there any charges that can be filed against him? Statutory rape, corruption of minor, etc? He doesn't understand why we will not let her see him since the "damage" is already done. Believe me, if I knew this was happening, I would have stopped it a long time ago. This "idiot" is 2 yrs younger than me.....old enough to be her father.

    The age of majority is 18 in PA. A minor does not have the legal capacity to give her consent for an intimate relationship. Thus, if there is no legal consent given it may be Statutory Rape - a very serious felony. Contact your prosecutor.
