    Default Donating a car to a charity registered outside PA?

    Hi
    I have a ford Taurus 2000, which I want to donate to a charity registered in NJ. Can anyone tell me the whole process for it? Can I donate my car to any charity or just the charity registered in Pennsylvania?

    itislegalto donate a car to a charity in another state. Watch out to be certain that the charity has a proper IRS status so that you can deduct the donation per the Interneal Revenue Code. Get that documenntation from the charity.
