I asked for a copy and he said he is not allowed and told me it was illegal to make a copy is this true? Why would it when i signed it which was stupid and why would it if its my write up and about me

It is not illegal to give you a copy of the statement that you signed. Contact your local office of the US Department of Labor -Wage and Hour Division. There you will find help with your employment problems at no cost. Good luck.
