I rent one side of a double house. The Electric Bills are seperate for each side of the house. Recently, I was late paying my electric bill. The Borough sent a copy of my overdue bill to my Landlord. Is this legal? I feel that it is a violation of my privacy.
It is my bill, not my Landlords. I believe that it is my business, and my business alone. Does the Borough have the right to show my Landlord how much my bill is by sending her a copy of it?
I feel very violated by this.
Thank you..
Check Property Guard's website, they are based out of PA and can point you in the rest direction.
