I was told by a realtor, when i had my home listed with one, that it was not allowed for someone who was not the owner or an agent to hold and host an open house. Is this true in a FSBO? I would like for my sig. other to show my home and hold my open houses for safety purposes... he will generally show it without me there and he is not an owner. Is this legal? (my feeling is that it should be, I own the home.... so who is in it is my choice.. but i want to clear this up since it was mentioned to me)
THANKS!
