I have a 10 year old and a one year old. I have on occasion left them in the car to pay for gas. Doors are locked, and I park in front where I can see the car. The 10 year old has a phone. I just heard that people have been fined in similar situations. What is the law? What is the legal age for my oldest to supervise the younger for a short time?
