to bigshotbil-- if they are not using the dogs for fighting ,but are breading there dogs and selling theres nothing wrong with that as long as they are being raised in a loving home and are not used in fighting and all have good health ...turning them in for breeding a dog isnt gonna get you antweres but look like a noisey neighbor and cause conflicks between your nieghbors ,,if you see fighting get pictures and witnesses to prove if it goes to court ..dog fighting is cruelty and highly alegal in all states for any breed of dogs ..pittbulls are babies unless the owner of a pitbull forces them to be agressive,,theres no bad dog theres only BAD OWNERS .. did you know that golden retrievers have a higher persentage bite/attack rate than pittbulls..yet the pittys are always looked at and treated as the outlaw...
If they are breeding pitt bulls, first contact your animal control officer. Most ordinances allows for pit bull dogs to be kept in the city limits only if the owners comply with penning the dog so that it may not be at large, and registering the dog annually.
Registration includes a visual inspection of the dog, proof of rabies vaccination, a $50 registration fee, proof of the dog being spayed or neutered, and implantation of a microchip by a veterinarian, at the owner’s expense. The registration is not transferable to any other pit bull. Failure to comply and remain in compliance with all of the terms, “shall subject the pit bull to immediate impoundment and disposal.”
They must be muzzled at all times when they are out there restricted area. There must be a beware of dog sign posted to the public eye. Most states required that owners of a dangerous breeds must carry up to, but not limited, $100,000 to $200,000 more coverage on home owners insurance. If the neighbors are renters, contact the landlord
