I have searched on the internet the laws for PA concerning Double Parking and have not found anything useful. I received a ticket when I pulled up to pick up my daughter from a play date it was the day after a snow storm and I was double parked on a quiet street with my hazards for less than 5 minutes. I came out whent the officer was writing the ticket and told him I was only there a few minutes to pick up my daughter but he continued to right the ticket. I was told that because I was not blocking traffic and I was there less than 5 minutes on a non-busy street I should not have received the ticket so I am disputing the violation. Does anyone know any specifics on Pennsylvania law concerning this?
