confused & scared

My soo to be ex lives in SC & supposedly is filing for divorce under abandonment, when he was abusive to me & the children. We had no choice but to come back home to PA. I know he's up to something cause he could have gotten a " no fault" but he said there wasn't any in SC. Am I just being paranoid or does it sound like he's up to something?

it sounds to me like he is up to something, but hey i don't know the guy. anyway jusy don't go screaming at the guy like he is up to something. that would just stir up trouble. ANd under no circumstance should you sleep with him again unless oyu want to stay married. One of my friends was going through a divorce/custody with her abusive and manipulative husband. Well one night he said he would lay off and stop attacking her in court over her faith and sexual preferences( she is bi). well she got drunk and he talked sweet and they had sex. Having sex completely messed up the case. The court said that since she had sex with him willingly that things must not have been as she said, and so the court swayed in his favor and he got the kids and everything else as well as ruining her reputation.
