I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a cap on the amount of interest a lender is allowed when giving a short term (payday) loan in Pennsylvania. I have taken out a few of these over the internet in the past few months because I was extremely short on cash, and now I can't seem to pay them down.
I have been snooping around on the internet and it seems as though these types of loans are illegal in PA, something I didn't know at the time.
Can someone possibly provide me some assistance with this or maybe point me in the direction of someone who can.
