Default Would it be considered kidnapping?

I live in Oregon and I would like to know that if I were to drive a minor to a place far away and then leave him there after he was in the car voluntarily, would that be 100% legal and not considered kidnapping?

In Oregon it is not possible for a minor to give his consent to you taking him. The legal system does not recognize "consent" from a minor. Thus, he can't go with you voluntarily so that you can leave him somewhere far away. You would most likely be facing a felony. If there are other facts that you left out, like you were the minor's parent, then my answer may be different.

No, nothing was left out. Thank you for your response.

So if this person were to turn 18 this would be legal to do?
