I live in California. I was recently told that I have a six year old warrant in Ohio for disorderly conduct. I don't have the option of letting the statute of limitations expire, so I am left to deal with a minor criminal proceeding - that must be resolved - that I can't justify flying all the way to Ohio to deal with. I know here in California, if I am not in the state, I can sign a waiver allowing the attorney to appear on my behalf to make a plea, and to accept judgement. Is this something that is allowable in Ohio?

Also, is anyone aware if there is way to get your public records on online systems sealed from public viewing if they are creating liabilities for you, and personal safety issues?

Thanks in advance.
