    Default Viewing other's emails

    Is it illegal to view someone else's emails without the knowledge (or permission) of the person that you are viewing it. I can't really help it...It just happen to know the password of my girlfriend's email account. She doesn't know about this. And it has become my habit already to check her email account. Am I doing something illegal here?
