My husband and I have reason to believe that our survey markers have been moved by our neighbour out at the road. This would make our front narrower than it actually is. What can I do about this?
Happens all the time. Call your surveyor to check on the markers. If moved, take your neighbor to small claims court for the cost of a re-survey plus expenses such as calling in the surveyor as an expert witness. Your neighbor will soon learn the expense is not worth messing with your survey markers. No lawyer is required.
If the markers have not been moved, you have peace of mind at a minimal price because the surveyer did not have to move the markers to their original location. Wish you well and Good Luck.
