I have been watching my neighbour trucking out water for ten years. I have not been abel to find any law pertaining to this action. Also (fish) Trout all year long. The pond is stocked regularily. I am all for earning money. But can anyone setup an operation and is this legal. I would like to know how much water can be sold from our CVC . and the water table. Where can I find the Business registration. If this disbarred lawyer can supplement income from his property and employ 4 people fulltime, where can I find this information. Is It Legal. Answers please. I am a a loss. Township no help. We are all farm people who have operated our farms 3rd generation. I did hear that water is now BLUE GOLD. and that wars will be fought over water. 2 questions in my thread. selling water and selling fresh trout. where is this regulated. thank you looking forward to hearing from all of you.
I would guess you need to go through fish and wildlife for the trout question, and that goes above simple township officials. As for water, I really don't see the issue myself. It's not like you can put an antitrust litigation on him or anything--it's water. There might be an EPA issue, but that's iffy in my opinion. If he's running a personal business, the government has probably been all over him before.
