    Default upset grandmother

Could someone please tell me the answer to the following. My daughter is in Bullheads arizonia, she has two little kids. She so badly wants to come home but her boyfriend and the father of the kids keeps telling her he will go to court so she can not leave with the children. She is so scared that she will lose her kids that she can't come home. Can he stop her if they are not married or never have been. She needs to get out of this relationship.

I don't know for sure, but you would think, logically, that if they have never been married, she would be considered a single mother, and he has no say so in where she lives with the children or where she moves. Do they have joint custody of the kids? If not, I think she can pack & move.

Her boyfriend and the father of the kids? That got me confused. Anyways, they may actually go to court but so what? As if they can do anything there with out her. Its also her children and she has legal right to them as well.

Is there any legal ground or bases why she has to bring her kids with her?

This thread is close to a year old, and grammie has never came back. As far as the daughter being taken to court it depends on if there was an agreement made at some point for custody of the child stating that both parents have to agree that the child can go out of state.
    Wonder what happened.
