Hey can someone be sued or get in any kind of legal trouble if they distribute someone else's copyrighted work that's not from the United States? Say if the author lived in another country like Great Britain and had a piece of media online that they charged people money for then someone came along from the United States posts their media online free or even charged for it. Is the person in the United States legally accountable if they violate electronic property from someone in another country like that?
