My two teenage boys (14 and 16) and a few of their friends climbed over a fence enclosure to go swimming in a neighborhood pool. They have been to this pool several times with a friend who lives in the neighborhood; however, at this time, the friend was not with them and there was no one else there during the day they went. While they were there, the president of the homeowners' association came by and told them to leave. They left the pool immediately; however, they were called back shortly after and the police were called. There were 8 boys there in total, but only 4 of the boys returned to the pool when the police were there. There were no damages done to the pool.
What are the possible actions that may be taken against them in this matter? The sheriff's department is waiting to hear from the homeowners' association as to what they want to do as far as pressing charges; however, we have not yet heard from them.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
