I've tried finding out about this, some sites say yes, others say no.... my gas company is going to shut-off service because of a bill that i haven't been able to pay yet since work is slow in niagara falls during the winter. Is it legal for them to do so even though the temprature is about 30 F, and there's children living in this house?
in addition, the heating in my house is through a gas furnace, so if they shutoff the gas, it would get pretty damn cold in here
