Kids on Motorcycles
Is it legal to have a 5 year old riding in the front of a motorcycle in NYC?
You see this all of the time. I think that the driver feels it is safer for the youngster to be in the front of the motorcycle rather than having them hold on in the back.
Sorry, I don't know if this is really legal.
It may not fall within the any legal or illegal practice or rule, but I think it is not safe to have a 5 year-old riding in front or at the back of a motorcycle with or without a helmet.
