    Default Can anyone video tape police in the State of NY?

    Can anyone video tape polce and post it on Youtube. Are local police are saying it is illegal to videotape them. If I do I will be arrested.

    yes it is illegal. was done in nyc one time and posted on youtube and the video was taken down.
