I need some help. I subscribed a contr. with T-mobile for 24 months and the sales repr. told me if you move to Europe you can cancel with no fees, just send us the driving licence showing that you are living there and its fine.

And so I did. I should still have the receipt of the registr. mail.

Now i found out that they are after me with a lawyer, destroyed my credit score and they now want something like $500 (with lawyer fees etc.).

how can i defend myself? is there some public officer, consumer assoc., I can show this without having to spend $ on a lawyer?
