I have found a tattoo artist who promised to do my tattoo for free and we have started it last year, it's half-way finished but now I am not able to find him, he doesn't answer emails/textst/phone calls/voice messages.
I have all of our correspondence, in which he says that he will do it for free and in return I will be willing to be photographed for his portfolio and give out his phone number to the people interested in his work.
The last time he worked on it was about 6 months ago and now I have a half-finished piece of artwork on my body. It's very frustrating and I don't like the way it looks unfinished.
Is there any way for me to press charges? I would like him to either keep his promise and finish it or to give me monetary compensation for screwing up my body so that I could pay somebody else to finish it.
Thank you for your time.
