My son died in Reno, Nevada on 5/22/2010. He did not have a will and is survived by his wife. His wife is being told she must pay all of the outstanding debts he incurred since they were married. I tried looking up the Nevada intestate statues, but could not find any information to determine if she is required to pay his debts. Can anyone tell me if she is responsible for his debts? Thank you.
