    Exclamation truck pipes

Does anyone know the MS laws regarding mufflers and pipes? My son wants to put pipes on his truck. This would require that the factory muffler be removed. I though driving without a muffler was illegal....is the issue moreso the loudness? Thanks in advance.

YOU are limited to a certain decibel loudness. ONce you exceed that, you are illegal. It is probably impossible to obtain the level of decibels with pipes alone.
