what legal action do i have against a bank

What legal action can i take against a bank that disclosed my personal and business account info to a third party. They gave account balances and even printed out transactions records. The third party is not a authorized person on these accounts,nor or they any part of my business. What legal action can i take.....

If you can prove the bank was at fault and this person did not get them any other way or was in any way entitled then I believe you can sue the bank in civil court. Each bank publishes a privacy policy and how to handle violations are part of it.

The person who works for the bank and the person who recieved the info are friends and play golf together,the person who recieved the info is in no way privy to my business or associated with my business at all. Much less my personal account. I bank at another bank also,just in case of things arising. This person just wanted to know how much money i had and how well my business was doing,in its first year.....what steps can i take to start the process.....
