    Default Unsolicited mail?

I'm in Maryland. I wanted to know if it is against the law to send magazine subscriptions to someone elses home. In other words, signing them up for the free issues that are offered, then when the bill comes you have to write cancel on it. There is no credit card used, just name and home address or email address. My friend had this happen to her and she said it is a felony not just against maryland law. Also, they are signing her up for free samples. Any info is appreciated.

It probably qualifies under a harassment statute depending on WHY they are sending the subscriptions.
