i am selling my home, got a offer, the buyers agent and buyer came for inspection day,(termite and home inspection), the agent told me heard u put a bid on oak st, then she said my husband and i went to put a bid on oak st and was told yall but in a bid,she said we flip holmes and there alot of money to be made on that house, so during inspection on the house the termite guy found termites in one spot in my flower bed, then the agent says well the whole house in the walls may have termites, the guy said i ck dont see anything like that, then agent said what about the attic ,the guy said looks good , agent then said how do u know , the guy said well i cked but there is alot of insulation , so then the agent said so they could be up there u jus dont c them, im thinking what is wrong with this agent, then it comes to house inspector, he only found one problem it was with the ne wall in attic no big deal he said just a few hundred and that will fix it, so then the agent walks up and says so the whole roof is caving in, she is saying all this infront of the buyers, so when they leave i was thinking what just went on and because she knew we were the one that bid on the house a oaks st, with has a contigency offer to the offer on the house im selling, she is trying to kill the deal on the house im selling so she can get oak st, she has also ask for a a/c inspection and a year of elec bills , so i feel if the listing agent for oak st would have not gave the buyers agent my name and what house i have listed , with ends up to be her clints our the buyers on my home , i would not be going thru this
It might be legal for them to say your name, but it is not really very ethical. It is best for them to say that "someone" has placed a bid, rather than to actually state your name.
