Lisa Poursine is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida. She holds a B.A., cum laude, from Georgetown University; a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida; and an LL.M. in Labor and Employment Law from NYU Law. While in law school, she was voted “Best Oralist” in the Final Four Moot Court Competition, which was judged by the Florida Supreme Court, and received NYU Law’s Seymour Goldstein Memorial Prize for academic excellence in the area of Labor Relations.
While she primarily performs work for corporate clients, Ms. Poursine has also performed her fair share of pro bono work for the general public. In fact, Ms. Poursine won an award for her representation of indigent clients from the New York Legal Aid Society (“LAS”), after she was sent by Skadden Arps to serve as an Attorney Extern in LAS’s Harlem Community Law Office for five months.
Aside from practicing law, Ms. Poursine exercises regularly, reads The New York Times daily, and attends art exhibitions monthly.
She currently resides in Florida and hopes to one day retire in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
