High school students sent home over American flag clothing
MORGAN HILL — The parents of five Morgan Hill high school students who were sent home after showing up in clothing emblazoned with American flags on Cinco de Mayo say the school's decision was "un-American."

Student still have some constitutional rights - but not all rights afforded to adults. They do have the right to freedom of speech. The school violated the student's rights by allowing some students to have a flag of Mexico and denying the other students the opportunity to have a flag of America.
