Absolutely legal. Your on there time being paid to do a job and using there computers.
In our country, it is legal. But the boss should let the employees know that he has put employee monitoring software on their computers.
Complete legal. There is no invasion of privacy involved. Your boss has every right to do that, but to a limit.
Employee monitoring is absolutely legal.
Pnestec systems provides employee monitoring software. that help you to track your employees.
This employee tracking and jobs monitoring application allows you to send jobs and messages to field staff effectively. Job status is updated from mobile handset and the same is visible to team lead in real time. Leads can also view videos and images related to the completed job.
Monitoring employee computers is a must for all organizations because of cyber-attacks such as Packet Sniffers, Eavesdropping, virus attacks etc. Employers can select various employee monitoring techniques such as deploying remote support appliance such as RHUB appliances or using software’s such as keylogger, nestersoft etc. in order to keep an eye on employees desktops.
On the JobsTrac web interface, you can get real-time information on jobs like assigned to, start time, end time and current job status. You can even initiate a communication with any employee from the web interface by sending a message on employees mobile. Web interface can also be used to view videos and audio files related to a specific job which is uploaded by the employee via handset which helps in efficient job tracking.
Hi.. I do agree..its legal.. i like this discussion...
Empolyee monitoring software[/URL] and parental control software are legal I think.
Employers have to keep an eye on their employees. There is more theft from employees than from anyone else. Most companies have cameras installed everywhere, so you already know you are being watched!
