Is it legal to order replica clothing from other countries

I am curious to get some feedback on the topic of ordering replica clothing from other countries such as China. I can understand that it would be false advertising to buy replicas and then attempt to resell as authentic, but if one were only interested in obtaining merchandise for personal use is there a legal problem with doing so. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

As far as your intention is not for commercial purposes you can do that for personal use.

However there are many legislation which provides the import of fake stuffs in to US, make sure that the type of cloth you are buying is not under the banned list.
