I have been renting an apartment for a 3 month contract to be terminated on July 2. I left the apartment on June 15 with most of my belongings and told the management that I was leaving to move into a permanent apartment. They informed me that I was paid until the 2nd. When I returned on July 2 to retrieve the rest of my belongings and drop off the keys, they had entered the apartment, changed the locks, and threw away my remaining items. When confronted about the situation, they simply said "we thought you left so we threw your stuff away". They changed the locks on the 16th by the way. What can I do about this? PLEASE HELP!!!
