Ive read alot about this law, and im still a little confused. If a person who is 16 years of age or older, runs away from their home, to live with someone else, and has everything then need, can they still be arrested and/or brought to court. Or will they just be left alone? And last question about it. What can the parents do?

If the age of majority is 16 then you are correct. You can leave and will not be brought back.
