    Default Misspelled Name in Contract

I have been shammed by a contrator for a roof repair job. He is keeping my down payment without providing any work, telling me I breeched the contract, many more details.

However, the point is he Misspelled my last name in the contract. Is this still a legal and binding contract?

    Thank you in advance.

It is a legal and binding contract, even though your last name is misspelled. If it can be determined that you are the one referenced in the contract, despite the misspelling, then the contract is enforceable.
