2 months ago, I allowed a married couple with a child to move into my apartment. my roommates (who are both on the lease) agreed to help them out until they got on their feet.
That's not working out very well anymore. They use our facilities (laundry, bathrooms, kitchen) and don't clean up very often. I was recently threatened with a full metal jacket-style beating (where they take bars of soap and place them in socks and beat you with it) by the mother of the child if I woke her 6 year old up on a sunday morning. Do I have to serve them a three day notice and then get the eviction after that, or can I give them a verbal/written 30 day warning before calling law enforcement to have them removed if they don't cooperate?
Any information or links would be helpful.
While you want to help people, sometimes you have to wonder how some find themselves in certain situations in the first place. Do whatever you have to to get them out of your house as soon as possible!
