    Default living-in

A friend of mine is dating a girl who recently just had newborn baby. He was curious about any Colorado laws regarding this situation and if they move in together. Is he responsible for the child and support even if they eventually break up? Can the girl really have title for half of his stuff? Thank you.

he is responsible if he helped make the baby she just had regardless of whether he lives in with her or not. But if he isn't the father then he doesn't owe her anything unless he actually marries her.

i agree with the previous poster if the child is not his, then he is not responsible for support in any way, in any state. Since she is only a "friend" she cannot get half of his stuff unless they are married. What his is his, until he say "I do" then it's hers.
