So about half a year ago I get arrested for possession of marijuana and unauthorized weapon. I got a peace bond to stay away from marijuana and paraphanelia. And after a few months of good behaviour i decided to go to the marijuana rally. On the way back however, me and a couple of my buddies get pulled over. The car had a great emanating smell of mj, so immediately the cop told us to step outside and asked if any of us had anything/any conditions. One of my friends comes forward with a few grams and I came forward with my condition. We got arrested and the next day I assured myself out.
I went to my first court date, and I adjourned it to get legal advice. However, I can't afford a lawyer (paralegal even) and the consequences of pleading guilty is probation. Also, I'm afraid that if I plead guilty, it will affect my ability to travel, go to college and/or work. That right there is my biggest concern.
If anyone has any advice or has seen this type of case, I would greatly appreciate for your help.
